Tourism Industry Council NSW (TICNSW) has developed a special Tourism Industry Forum specifically targeted at Government based attraction operators.
TICNSW recognises the importance of the large range of Government owned attractions that help facilitate the visitor experience in NSW. TICNSW also understand the unique challenges such organisations face in delivering these experiences. These bi-monthly forums are an opportunity to explore if there are common, practical solutions to some of these challenges.
Initially held on Monday 28 February 2011 at Sydney Opera House the forum was chaired by Simon Spellicy, a TICNSW Board Member and former TICNSW General Manager, Geoff Buckley. These forums are aimed at identifying the key common challenges facing Government attractions whilst exploring the opportunities of working together to identify and potentially implement more cost effective solutions to some of the unique issues faced by government institutions involved in the tourism industry.
The next meeting of the NSW Government Attractions Forum is to be advised
If you are interested in attending these Forums or for more information please contact Jenna Veness, Industry and Membership Services Officer on 02 9267 6865 or email jenna@ticnsw.com.au
