Tourism Futures International have recently compiled a report for Destination NSW, outlining the performance of Sydney and NSW Aviation over the past ten years.

 The presented figures reaffirmed Sydney as Australia’s major gateway for International Arrivals with visitors from New Zealand continuing to be the most prolific. It also confirmed that Sydney remains the major departure point for outbound Australian residents with a 40.5% market share.

The data also confirmed strong growth for regional intrastate New South Wales routes over the past five years with Port Macquarie and Albury experiencing the largest increases. Overall, 4.5% annual growth has been achieved on intrastate New South Wales routes over the past five years.
