Sydney Tourism Awards Workshop 15 July
The second and final Sydney workshop for the 2009 NSW Tourism Awards will be held on Wednesday July 15 and we welcome and encourage all NSW Tourism operators to attend.  If you have never entered the awards before this will give you a fantastic overview and you'll walk away with the basis of your submission already written.  If you have entered before there are many changes this year - the main one being that appendices are no longer required or accepted, so your submission must be really concise - this workshop will help you tighten it up.  RSVP to the Awards Coordinator, Shan Lawson awards@ticnsw.com.au.

AussieHost Getting Closer
For an extended period of time TICNSW has been in negotiations to roll out the customer service program AussieHost.  At a NSW Government Job Summit meeting recently, the Premier presented his report, which included seed funding of a $50,000.00 to TICNSW to allow us to develop the program. We are currently in negotiations with the owners of AussieHost to become a ‘Master Provider’ and once we reach agreement we will commence AussieHost training as soon as possible. We expect to commence roll out through metropolitan and regional NSW during June 2009.
